What Turns You On?

What turns a man on the most? Is it the sight of a naked woman? A nearly naked woman? Or a woman fully sheathed in a berka? Ladies, we all know that it doesn't take alot to turn a man on...regardless of your weight, and/or dimensions, your man sees something in you to begin with. So lets dispense with the shyness, the meekness, the hot & cold reactions we throw out to men and do something, anything different to turn him on! Hell, you may find out that you will get turned on in the process. Here is a sample of what I think will turn people on... 1. Sexually Explicit Conversation - hearing what a man/woman is going to do to you is the beginning of foreplay. 2. Using the 5 Senses - creating and setting a mood, that stimulates your five core senses...fragrant body oils, scented rose petals, erotic massages, scented baths, sexy lingerie & sensual foods. 3. Fantasy Fulfillment - there is nothing like telling your mate your fantasy, the bonus is that they are willing to help yo...

Call Her Nastee - Test 2

Call Her Nastee -Test 2 ©2007 Saundra E. Harris Saphari Books, Inc. Nastee ascribed to the "you can show me, better than you can tell me" tenet, so when the ladies at work were praising their love of the "bullet" she had to find out for herself. After doing her research, she found what she wanted and started a new test. Nastee sat on the commuter train for the hour long ride to work. Her face was turned towards the window, hands clamped tightly to her side. She had began a new test this morning. She had inserted two electronic wireless plugs into her body, one into her puzzy and the other in her azz. They were designed to vibrate for five minutes and could be set, and recharged overnight and had a time usage of up to four hours, before having to be recharged. They cost her a small fortune, but no price was too much when it came to her sexual appetite. Nastee was vorarcious. Anything that seemed like a challenge to her, the more appealing it was. She always had to te...

Dating & Skin Hunger

When did dating become so complicated? Why is it that its okay for a man to be choosey and picky with his choice of mate/companion, yet not okay for a woman? Why is it okay for men to ask "why are you single", yet don't want the same asked of them? Why is it that I am so tired of answering questions like this, that it is amazing...there is so much bullshyt going on now in the dating world to the point that its just crazy...bottom line is...men and women don't know what in the hell it is they want...lets cut out the physical, because I would be lying if I said I didn't want/desire good looking men, but everything that looks good isn't always good for you...isn't that what Momma told you??? On paper folks sound really good, I mean its like "jack pot" and then you get to know this psycho skitzo nut job and you wonder what in the hell happened! How many of us have gotten caught up with some new shyt and then find out that after you knock the dust off...

Love, Lust, & Redemption

Saturday, September 29th I sat on a relationship panel at the Baltimore Book Festival, , it was called LOVE, LUST, & REDEMPTION, and myself, along with fellow authors Tariiq Omari Walton and Kenda Bell, discussed the current state of affairs between men and women. I spoke on women and accountability, and how we are the gatekeepers to our hearts, minds, and body. I spoke on being responsible for your actions, and to command and demand respect, not just from men, but from everyone that you allow into the inner circle of your life. Tariiq spoke about Love vs Lust and how the to are different aspects of relationships...and Kenda touched on redemption...but all three of us agreed that the current state of affairs between men and women is sad. Men and women truly want to get together and be companion's, lovers, and friends to one another, yet there seems to be so many barriers and stipulations hindering us from coming together. A friend recently told me that they wouldn't want to...

Clarity In The Quest For Love

I was dressing for work and this overwhelming feeling of devastation came over me…and the tears welled in my eyes and spilled over. I must’ve cried for an hour…until my face got puffy and my head ached…I cried all the way to work and off and on at my desk…as if that wasn’t bad enough, when I got home, I popped in THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY and cried again…if you haven’t seen this movie it is the ultimate in love and sacrifice… I believe that everyone should have a good cry it gets all of the stresses and toxins out of your system…crying is a catharsis that you have to actually have to understand what I am saying…but my cry stemmed from me loosing someone that I love, I cried for the time I lost…I cried for the love I gave…I cried for not being appreciate for the wonderful woman that I am…I cried because he doesn’t love me back…I cried because I know that moving on will be tough, but not impossible…I cried because I had made a commitment to meet some friends and I did not want to go,...

Good Men & Good Women...

What constitutes a good man? I can't begin to tell you how many times I have heard women say that "all the good ones are taken"...but what do they mean by that? Just today, I saw it online no less than ten times and in conversations with women as well....I mean what constitutes a good man? What are the mitagating deciding factors that make him good? Too often some people think that just because a man is married, makes him a good man...why, because he showed a committment to another woman? What makes a good woman? A phat ass? Bomb head? Money? Again, what are the factors that stipulate this is a "good woman"? Here's the thing, he may look like a good man to you, but you don't know what he may or may not be putting his significant other through...I say S.O. because I know more non married people that have been together for twenty odd years than married people. The Non Married or Living in Sin as the old folks say, seem to be more committment to a non comit...

BullShyt Azz Men...

Fellas...ladies are tired of bullshyt ass men...you know...fellas we understand, and recognize that sometimes we (women) are not completely honest at times when it comes to what they want and are looking for in a relationship. We understand that sometimes we tell you we don't want a relationship when deep down some of us are craving to be in a relationship so they can share their "my man" stories. Some want to be in a relationship, to stem off loniliness and the feeling of being an old maid or spinster, while others just want a regular sex parnter...not viable reasons to me, but to each his own...however, lets talk about the MEN. Alot of men aren't honest either, and at times it seems the only thing they are honest about is phucking, when can they phuck, if they can phuck, and will they phuck. Is she fine, is she phat, how good does she look...thats honesty...An old wives tale says that the first thing that comes out of a mans mouth is the lie, everything after that...

Women & Accountability

"How can you give relationship advice, when you aren't in a relationship yourself?" This is the question asked of me by a female friend...she said that my blogs and talk show are great, she really enjoys reading and listening to them, but she doesn't understand how I can give out advice when I am not a current participant in a relationship at the moment. I stated that Dr. Spock never had children but that didn't stop him for penning a best selling novel that was the model for how the baby boomers raised their children. This person is a near and dear friend, so when she said it, it hurt my feelings and made me wonder if this is what everyone thinks. Then I pulled myself up by my bootstraps and told her that I do this to help women NOT to make the same mistakes I did. Having been in situations that were dumb, where I was STUPID, and naive, and just so damn gullible and blinded by those rose colored lenses I wore, that I hope that other women will read and listen and...

How To Tell If He Is Cheating

I found this site and I think when a persons habits and behavior changes, for ME that is a sign that something is wrong and that the person's interest may lie elsewhere...these are some "trigger" phrases that makes me quiet, thoughtful, and watchful of all actions and words...but overall I watch the habits and behavior of the person, that tells on them quicker than anything 1. I got a run to make 2. I got business to take care of 3. Need time to sort things out 4. Going to be incommunicado for a while 5. Work is super busy But that's just me...this article list some other hints and also talks about cheating online- which myspace has been accused of wrecking plenty of relationships... ---------------------------------------------------------------- Written by Dating Guru http://dating-hints-tips.com/index.php/content/view/94/43/ “How do I tell if a guy is using me” is most probably the most common question I get asked on this site, the very first thing I think ...

Are Women Stupid....

Did anyone listen to the Steve Harvey show this morning? Is it me, or are there alot of lonely and desperate women in this world? WTF! Are women stupid...I mean what does it take for a woman to realize that that man does not want them. Some of the women that called in had some of the most outrageous situations that they were dealing with. To me they were basic jhedi mind tricks but these women were genuinely confused as to what it is they should do... One man had left his woman and then was making her prove to him that she isn't currently seeing another man. Now the bitch in me immediately reared its head, with WTF she doesn't have to prove a damn thing to him and if I were her, he wouldn't even be able to talk to me, afterall he left for "greener pastures"... Another woman's husband was telling her that she didn't turn him on sexually and that is why he goes to the strip clubs and watches an excessive amount of porn...and he has her feeling like she has t...

Third Eye & Intuition...Do You Trust It?

Over the past weekend, I received alot of calls from friends going through various relationship issues and drama...but the underlying factor with all of them was trusting their third eye. You know that gut feeling you get when something is just not quite right...I N T U I T I O N. Do you trust your intuition? Has it ever led you astry? Down the wrong path? Have you ever felt that something just wasn't what they seemed, because you had this gut wrenching intuition that just wouldn't let go? It held you in its grips and although you felt something was wrong with every fiber of your being, you had to let it go because of lack of evidence or just plain insecurity and paranoia on your part? Some of the situations that I was made aware of, as a woman I guess I could see how the women would think that something was amiss...the brothers did admit to not answering all phone calls and "going dark" (incommunicado) which could make an insecure woman's intuition to over react....

Jealousy & Insecurities

Okay...this a phucking vent, rant, gripe session, whatever you want to call it...but I am so tired of hearing about women upset at their man because of his friendships with women. I lost a really close friend because of his girls insecurities and I told him that since you have to phuck her and I don't, its best that we just chill with the friendship stuff, no more party invites for me...but I will keep him on my Christmas list...damn shame to because we had alot of fun together, and because of that his girl sees me as a threat...oh well... Jealousy and insecurity are two ugly qualities that I think we all have within us. Some of us are more adept at handling these negative emotions while others allow these emotions to rule their lives. They let shyt fester and grow in their mind like a little seed and all that seed needs is an overactive imagination to water it and make it grow. Shyt turns from a mole hill into a mountain and all it really is unnecessary drama. I have talked about ...

More Black Women Consider 'Dating Out'

This article was mailed to me...what do you think about it...should sisters consider that maybe their prince charming isn't a Black Knight, but rather a White one? Read on and share your thoughts... ______________________________________________________________________ More Black Women Consider 'Dating Out' By DIONNE WALKER, Associated Press Writer Sat Aug 4, 3:44 PM RICHMOND, Va. - For years, Toinetta Jones played the dating game by her mom's strict rule. "Mom always told me, 'Don't you ever bring a white man home,'" recalled Jones, echoing an edict issued by many Southern, black mothers. But at 37, the Alexandria divorcee has shifted to dating "anyone who asks me out," regardless of race. "I don't sit around dreaming about the perfect black man I'm going to marry," Jones said. Black women around the country also are reconsidering deep-seated reservations toward interracial relationships, reservations rooted in America...

Men...Money...Power....

I was listening to a morning talk show during my morning commute and they were discussing the ongoing problems of a popular minister and his ministry here in Baltimore. Rumors abound that this minister, has issues with extemporaneous hoochies. No other way to put it...if you look at this brother, he exudes a hustler's mentality (IMO)...what folks call a "pimp in the pulpit". This host stated that many of his issues are with women and that his wife should understand or at least should've understood that she was marrying a man that women were going to be attraced to. I can't remember the exact quote, however, it went along the lines of women needing to understand that a man that is powerful and wealthy will have extra marital affairs, and that knowing that, they should turn a blind eye to a rich mans transgressions. Now I understand that women are attracted to men with money and power, and in a sense I do understand why he said it, because we see so many "non a...

The Lost Art of Courting

Does relationship courting still exist beyond the dinner & then the hotel? In the realm of dating the art of courting, appears to be a lost art. Gone are the days where a man picked you up at your house. Gone are the days where you sat on the porch and listened to the “record player”. Gone are the days, where the man asked your father and/or guardian if he could pursue his interest in you. The gentlemanly courtships of yesterday are gone. The first time I heard the word courting, I was sixteen, when my grandmother or Mumma as we called her asked me if I was courting. When I furled my brow she changed it to “going steady”. She was the first person to explain to me the artful skill of a man that goes a courting with a woman. To court a person is an attempt to allure and/or obtain a more formal relationship. In the olden days, the woman you courted, you married. Handholding was a form of intimacy that implied a promise. Today, one or the other gender often scorns hand holding, snuggli...

Why Are You Single...???

Ladies have you ever sat down and examined why it is that you are still single? Have you gone over in your mind all of the bad relationships that you have been in and stayed in and after you left you wondered why? Personally, after I put myself in a relationship with a man that didn't know he was in a relationship, I knew I had some issues I had to deal with. The man was telling me repeatedly that he didn't want a relationship, however, his actions belied his words. I misconstrued his constant phone calls and wanting me to be near me as us having a relationship...when in fact we were just "kicking it" as he said. So with my feelings hurt, I wanted to lash out at him, but I had to check myself and note that I didn't listen to what he was saying. While I cut myself off from other men, he didn't cut himself off to other women. I had to learn to listen, and respect that man for telling me the truth even if I didn't want to hear it. I had to look in the mirror ...

Are the negative characteristics that some associate as just "how black women are", attributed and/or associated with the lack of a positive male role

In a conversation with a friend last evening, we got on the topic of my next show...( What Do Black Men Think of Black Women", 7-27-07, www.blogtalkradio.com/sassyentertainment @ 9pm, call in 646.716.7414 ) and inevitably I thought of another topic. He stated that the problem with black women is the lack of a positive male role model in their lives currently and/or in their past. He said that because the black man has neglected his duties regarding parenthood and because some men would rather run game on women, that the women have developed these so called negative characteristics that seem to be indicative of black women. He doesn't agree that this is the reason why brothers date women of other races...he does however, believe that this is the reason why black women can appear mean and negative to some...and vulnerable and easy to others. It got me to thinking about his statement, and having grown up with my father, and having a come from a loving background whose parents are...

20 Things Holding Black Women Back

I found this on another message board...check it out! 20 Things Holding Black Women Back 1. Superwoman Syndrome ---I’ve been with a few females who thought they can multitask effectively. It was real annoying when we were talking on the phone. They usually seem very distracted but still insist they are still listening. YEAH RIGHT. Hint: Sisters, it's impossible to work fulltime, raise kids fulltime, go partying fulltime, and chase men fulltime! You'll end up focusing on one and neglecting the others. 2. Fear of Being Alone ---This is all too common with Black females who always are in a relationship and use a “backup” if needed. These backups are usually the "nicer" brothas who think they are number one with the female, but in actuality, they are just getting played. If you want real respect and admiration from a Black woman become, a thug and a felon. 3. Hair, Hair and Hair ---Yea what’s up with females who pay 75+ dollars every two weeks to get their hair done? W...

Who Has The Power....

I was talking on another board and one of the women asked this question... Is the state of the black church one of the reasons why many black women remain single? Do men control the state of marriage or does pussy power still prevail? Now my response addressed alot of the other comments, but the basic premise is again about women...and this is what SassyScribe had to say.... ------------------------------------------------------ The problem is that women aren't being honest...and they aren't listening to what men are telling them. If you meet a man and he tells you that he is not getting married and not looking for a relationship, why then do you continue to stay with him? There is no tried and true method to getting a man to the altar...what women need to do is stop trying to define themselves by the fact that they have a man in their life. Stop buying into the fact that good men are in church...there are alot of men in church, the majority are married, or gay and the singles ...
