Barack Obama for President

First of all this man took my breath away at the DNC in '04...he was electrifying, motivating, genuine, oh yeah and sexy, with his dark azz lips...

I was so excited when he won the Senate seat in Illinois, eventhough I am here in Maryland, but recently he was on Oprah and she told him that if he decided to run for President in '08, she wanted him to announce it on her show...he said that he hadn't made any decisions as yet. Then on Meet The Press Sunday with Tim Russert he was asked again, and he told him the same thing...that he needed to look at the entire picture with more depth and thought...

Do you think he has the qualifications to become President with so little time under his belt as a public servant? I mean, hey GW only had two years as Governor of Texas under his belt, and look how great that turned out...! Is American Ready for a Black President?

Your Thoughts....

I live here in Illinois and I love Obama and will do whatever it is necessary as a public servant to support him. He is a liberal thinker like myself.(Don't quite get the sexy thing) Ha!

Happy New Year Sassy,
I am finally back in action after a short New Years hiatus! =)
_________Hey, at first I was saying that I love him but that he really hasn't done that much yet being a freshman and all. You know, I was playing the "limited experience" game and whatnot! Now after seeing all of the mistakes that Bush has made with all of his "Knowledge" and "Experience", etc! LOL Now I am saying RUN OBAMA RUN!!!! I guess I didn't want the brotha to get out their and crash and burn too soon. I also know that Hillary Clinton has been looking to make a move as well and I love her too! I just wonder how much of the "white" vote that he can muster up as and african american with an (african) name like Barak Obama!!!!! =) He will definitely need the white vote because (we) don't vote like we should or even get involved in politics. This careless notion makes me absolutely ill with my people! ____I know one thing, his security detail better be on point if he does become President of these here United States!...=))

Peace & Love,

I would love to see him run! Hell, I'd even set up a compaign office here in Maryland, but my background is tainted enough to not make that a good idea...so instead I will hype him up and cast my vote for him!

The man has set up an exploratory committee and already, the media is starting in on him. They refuse to let go of the fact that his middle name is "Hussein", and now they want to talk about him spending time in a Muslim school when he was 7 or 8 years of age. Correct me if I'm wrong, but at that age, does any child have a choice in where their parents send them to school. Hell NO! I think Hillary & Barack together would be great, otherwise they risk dividing the vote, should they decide to run against one another.

I agree,
They should definitely hook up and blow these other people out of the water! I think this is the only way either one of them will have a chance..

Online Dating

When I first got my computer, I used to sit up and chat all night long with numerous people from across the globe. As I got bolder, I actually met some of these individuals that I had chatted with online. The one commonality I found was that they all lied about something...that was in 2002. Today, I am a member of three online dating services {I'm a free member to them so communication is limited} anyway, three years later I am finding the same thing...that they all lie for some reason or another. Now my girlz feel that I am crazy to not only talk to these freaks I meet online but to actually meet them. And I am beginning to realize that they are right...I am crazy or are they crazy? I'm crazy because I genuinely want a relationship, and I am finding out the reason why some of these men are still single and that is....drum roll please--- They don't say what they mean and mean what they say! That goes for the women as well! Now I know life happens and you had a life before ...

Relationship Deal Breakers

We all know folks out here tolerating alot of unnecessary bullshyt from their significant other...I sit back and look at them, saying to myself "Girl, you are good, because I wouldn't put up with that bullshyt," but you know what, someone will. Or is it more like someone has to? How many times have we heard that what one woman/man won't do another will? Too many times to count, right. But does that saying make situations right? I mean when someone does something that you don't like...betrays a trust, a confidence, cheats, steals, or lies etc...what makes some people forgive---over and over and over and over...how many times does a person get a second chance? Don't get me wrong, I feel that sometimes people make honest mistakes...but to continue to repeat the same mistake is not a mistake...its a problem, that obviously the person cannot fix on their own. When I think of deal breakers, I think like this... Cheating Cheating and the person gets pregnant Cheating...
